Course Requirements

This course is great for anyone who wants to improve their written English. It has been created based on the Entry Level and Level 1 framework for UK English Functional Skills.

You’ll need to already be a fluent English speaker.

Improve Your English – Course Content

The course covers: English sentence structures; How to use verbs, adverbs, adjectives, nouns and pronouns; How to identify and use punctuation including: colons, semi-colons, apostrophes, commas and full stops; How to use paragraphs; How to create different types of text including blogs, letters and emails; How to identify and use the correct spelling for plurals and homophones such as ‘their, there and they’re’.

The course comprises 21 lectures organized into the following six sections:
